Another environmental project with the support of Breitling
In collaboration with the SUGi project, which promotes reforestation and the construction of terrestrial and marine ecosystems, Breitling organized a visit to the MiniSelva, an agricultural land degraded and unused which is being transformed into a thriving forest. Its plantation was carried out in January 2021 and was the ideal setting to present for the first time the new video SUGi & Breitling; to check its development on site and celebrate the partnership between the two brands.
SUGi & Breitling
“Thanks to brands like Breitling and their partnerships with communities like ours, we can help in the beautiful task of recreating life where it hardly seemed possible” said Elise Van Middelem, founder of SUGi.
The Chief Squad
The members of the Chef Squad, Quique Dacosta, Maca de Castro and Mario Sandoval were invited to the event with the mission of showing their commitment to the environment and serving as spokespersons to reach and educate more and more people.
A journey that allowed them to learn more about nature, to create precedents and to reconnect with the Earth. After a brief interview, the chefs were able to discover the MiniSelva project, which takes place in Llucmajor in the Sa Qenti eco-farm.
A socially responsible company
Breitling’s involvement in the SUGi project complements its efforts to be CO2 neutral and establish itself as a socially responsible company with a minimal carbon footprint.
Breitling recently introduced what is the industry’s first foldable and reusable eco-friendly watch case. Thanks to its small size and the use of fewer components, the costs and environmental impact associated with transportation are also minimized.
